Excellent place with its 24-hour reception, restaurant, and cozy lounge area. On my first stay, the helpful staff gave me great restaurant recommendations. I always leave happy and look forward to coming back for the new year.

Beautiful historical luxurious breakfast
Normally breakfast is almost always automatically included. If you have breakfast (on the beautiful roof terrace) it cost 22 euros per person. If you count it for 2 people together with the promotional price we paid for the stay it will be just as expensive as if we booked a regular full booking including breakfast.

The room was big and luxurious with awesome views to the beautiful main cathedral. Staff were courteous and breakfast was particularly good and absolutely fantastic. Thanks to a train station found walk from the hotel, I could visit sightseeings.

Breakfast was served on the fifth floor with a direct view of the historic buildings and cathedral. The staff was friendly everyone spoke and understood English very well, so communication was easy. I had the car parked for a paid service, which did cost something but afterwards this was a good choice, it saved time, searching and prevented headaches.

The restaurant in the attic with the excellent roof terrace and the overview of the old town were already an experience at breakfast.
In the evening in the restaurant the head waiter in particular was a little arrogant and not very communicative.

We got an upgrade to a junior suite. Beautiful of course. Furthermore, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the parking service excellent but pricey.

Extensive breakfast. Bread supply could be better, e.g. 'normal' croissants and toast bread.
in restaurant only separate dishes, I would add more evergreens as risotto, spaghetti, ham with melon, etc..

The old-style luxury feel - not a standard bland hotel as you too often see. It hasd lovely nooks and crannies, old sculpted wooden ceilings etc
We had paid for a luxury room but the first room we got on the 4th floor was large but very disappointing (no atmosphere, old rather than antique furniture, outdated bathroom) and not worth the money. The next day we managed to move to another luxury room on the 3rd floor and that one was really fantastic and worth the money. Then we were happy!

The Grand Hotel Baglioni is for sure one of the old traditional Hotels in Florence, marvellous interieur which helps you to enjoy Florence even more. I liked the old wooden ceilings an old wooden doors. The bathroom was small but very clean and the ceramic works was very nice. The certainly best part of the Hotel (great!!) is the roof garden Terrasse. Unbelievable view on the Florence Dome and Campanile. Sitting there you are feeling "one step beyond" all other Florence visitors. Try it!
The breakfast itself was - lets say standard. Nothing to worry about but also no big experience. We hadn#t the chance to eat in the restaurant so no comment on the cooking.

We loved the very nice view from the rooftop terrace during breakfast! The kids enjoyed the extensive meal selection, made mornings a delight for the whole family as we started each day with tasty options and a fine backdrop.
My children wanted a play area for downtime.

The Grand Hotel Baglioni is very conveniently located not too short a distance from the railway station and within walkable distance of all the main sites of Florence. The staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and we had a small balcony affording amazing views of the Duomo and surrounding skyline of Florence. The breakfast was very good.
The bed!!! This was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept on it was a solid as a brick and I had two nights of very disturbed sleep!! Although for those who like solid mattresses this would obviously not be an issue. The breakfast room was very busy and although seated very promptly the serving staff seemed very frantic!
